When the crossover capacity of the OSN8800 T16 subrack is set to 360G~720G, the capacity limit range of the license is incorrect. Error code 43887

Processing

1. V100R007C00 and earlier versions. The maximum crossover capacity of the single slot of the OSN8800 T16 subrack is 40G. There are 16 slots with crossover capability, so the maximum crossover capacity of the subrack is 40 * 16 = 640G. The cross-capacity that can be selected is 0G, 360G and 360G~640G;

2. V100R007C02 and later versions. The maximum crossover capacity of the single slot of the OSN8800 T16 subrack is 100G. There are 16 slots with crossover capability, so the maximum crossover capacity of the subrack is 100 * 16 = 1600G, which is 1.6T. The cross-capacity that can be selected is 0G, 360G, 360G~640G, and 1.6T. According to the product specifications, it is not allowed to configure the two crossover capacities of 360G~720G and 720G~1.28T.

Therefore, when the crossover capacity of the OSN8800 T16 subrack is set to 360G~720G, the capacity limit range of the license is incorrect, and the error code is 43887.

Root cause

Although the OSN8800 T16 subrack physically supports the crossover capacity of 360G~720G, it cannot be configured due to product specifications and can only be configured to 1.6T.

solution

Set the crossover capacity of the OSN8800 T16 subrack according to actual needs and product specifications.
