As an NE40E Router Supplier, let's talk about three modes of adding a Huawei CX600 Switch port to a VLAN today.
Three link types for Ethernet ports: Access, Hybrid, and Trunk:
1. An access type port can belong to only one VLAN, which is generally used to connect to a computer port.
2. A Trunk port can allow multiple VLANs to pass through, and can receive and send packets of multiple VLANs.
3. A port of the Hybrid type can allow multiple VLANs to pass through. It can receive and send packets from multiple VLANs. It can be used to connect Huawei CX600 Switch or to connect to users' computers.
When a hybrid port and a trunk port receive data, the processing method is the same. The only difference is that when the data is sent, the hybrid port can allow packets of multiple VLANs to be sent without labeling, while the trunk port only allows the default VLAN. The message is sent without tagging.
